About Us

Our licensed, board certified, experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)s are committed to giving women a safe, quality birth experience in a comfortable environment. Low risk women have the option to give birth at the birth center or have a hospital birth with our midwives at either William Newton Hospital or South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center. Our midwives have privileges at both hospitals to give women in the community their choice of birth experience.

Services

Prenatal and Postpartum Care

High quality prenatal care in a comfortable, home like environment. We offer prenatal classes and breastfeeding support

Labor and Birth Care

Low risk women who meet birth center criteria have the option to give birth at the birth center. Women who do not meet criteria or choose a hospital birth also have the option of giving birth at William Newton Hospital or South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center with our midwives. We also consult, collaborate and refer to OB/GYN physicians based on a women's individual needs.

Wellness

Our midwives offer minor GYN, wellness, adolescence, menopause and family planning appointments. We refer to our collaborative OB/GYNs for complex GYN care.

Breastfeeding Support

Our Board Certified Lactation Consultant and midwives are trained in breastfeeding support and can help you manage most breastfeeding problems.

Our Hours and Clinic Locations

We have a convenient location for office appointments. We are available for appointments Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am to 5 pm, Thursday 1 pm -5 pm and Friday 9 am to noon. Call 620-301-1274 to schedule. We are closed from 12-1 pm for lunch. Please leave a message and staff will call you back as soon as possible.
